Britney Spears have chances of not joining “The X Factor (US)”. According to the reports that are surfacing, she was apparently offered $10 million, to be the new judge of the show’s this season. But Simon Cowell of late has shown least interests signing the thirty year old Pop Star, to be the new judge.

Simon says that he is worried that she will be unable to convey good guidance, support and advices to the contestants who will be scared to the hilt. He is afraid that contestants may not take her seriously. Sources have claimed that the main reason why Simon Cowell discarded the plan of having Britney Spears on the show as a judge is only because he does not feel her fit enough to be associated the show.

The criteria of an apt judge for the U.S. version of “The X Factor”, said the source someone who little more experienced in the music industry would have been preferred by Simon Cowell. If the source is to be believed then Simon is heading towards Mariah Carey or Janet Jackson.

Earlier in March, it was reported that Spears has signed a deal of $10 million to join “X Factor (US)” as a judge. Later in March, reports claimed that the Pop Star wanted more money. She wanted sticking to $16 million.

Lately, a source informed HollywoodLife.com that discussions with the Britney Spears are no more. In the front runners to be the judge it is said that Rihanna’s chances are high. The candidate for the vacant spot is being hunted after Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger left the show.
